I'm lucky in that my job lets me mostly telework with one day per week spent onsite. It's a sysadmin job, not a production job. I'm using the tally system at my church; they're paying for the parts.

I think I'm going to try creating a .deb file for your ATEM software. Something I've never done before, could be a good learning experience.

So far so good. It boots, I can set up the IP, and using a Python script I wrote a while back I can manually toggle the pins. Next step is to test it with an actual ATEM, which I should be able to do by Sunday. Thanks.

Hey,

I'm running the latest version tally_08 on a pi 4. Everything works fine but the pi is locked in read only. Do you know why that is?

Hi Punkley,
thank you for your amazing work!
I am working with a RPi3B and an Atem TV Studio HD.
I succesfully flashed the image 06 version onto my SD card and it bootet. Great.
But now I have a view questions:
1. Everithing is ok but it says: " Failed to start Create Volatile Files and Directories.
See ´systemctl staus systemd-tmpfiles-setup.service` "

Is this important? Whats can I do?

2. The default user is tally-config, but what is the password?

3. What commands do I need to correctly configure the network?

3. What else do I have to do to make it run? You wrot something about X. but what do you meen with X?

Thank you very much

I would suggest you use
https://www.tbdproductions.com.au/files ... v08.img.gz

it will come up with some errors on boot, but will work

log in as tally-config and it will talk you through setting up the network

That is it, all you need else is LED's on the GPIO ports.

The details are here
