I have a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ and this ATEM tally image won't run on it. Any suggestions how to get it to work on this model? What version of the Raspberry PI is this image designed for?

When starting up the Raspberry PI 3 Model B+ with the image on it... it begins by displaying the colorful screen like it is starting up.. but then it doesn't ever move off that screen and actually start. I tried this on two different raspberry Pi boards to make sure it wasn't an issue with the hardware, but this occurs on both. I then put an SD card in with a regular install of Raspian on it, and it booted fine. I'm researching to see what the differences are with the new hardware, but so far I haven't discovered any solutions. Thanks for your assistance with this...

hmmm, interesting, i don't have a pi+ to test this on at the moment, if you can get screenshots of anything useful i would be interested in seeing them.

It might require a new kernel or something similar.

Unfortunately, there isn't a lot to screenshot, unless you want the pretty image for the four color rainbow screen that displays when the video driver first starts up. The Rpi gets to this screen and then doesn't proceed any further. I did notice that the green led light which indicates Read/Write activity from the SD card doesn't do anything, so it seems that this may indeed be a kernel issue.

I have an SD card with the newest version or Raspian Stretch lite which runs as expected on the RPi 3 B+... are there some files or program I can install to just get the tally functionality working on this apart from just running on the full image?

Any assistance you can provide would be great. (I've done a lot of standard application programming and Arduino programming, but I'm new to the RPi world, so I have a bit of a learning curve to get up to speed on this stuff. Please forgive me if any of my questions seem bizarre)

I have ordered a RPi 3 (not the B+ version) to try to use so I'll try this again when that arrives. If this works, I'll see if I can get this to upgrade to the newer kernel.

thanks!

That might work,

boot up log in as root, you will need to remout the OS RW

mount -o remount,rw /

then try upgrading

So, this image is only tested in the Pi 3 model?

Because I'm able to find the 'just Pi 3'

I have found:
- Pi 3 B
- Pi A+
- Pi 2 B
- Pi B+

I have used it on everything up to a pi 3, but not the B+ (reports says it isn't working).

I don't currently have one to test it on that.

It is based on Rasbian so it should work on anything that Rasbian works on.
