Hey Kingsley, yes sorry i meant to reply, yes have worked it out now i connected each light to a ground and the relevant pin and it works fine. Very handy there is exactly 8 grounds on the GPIO! It's a great little bit of software and all in all built ourselves a tally system for less than £100, pretty good considering the blackmagic box (that only does program, not preview!) is £400!

Do you think it might be something you'd look at in the future to manually assign the camera numbers on each port. We maybe could do with having cameras 9- 16 as another box or something.

Thanks again for sharing this!

Did I make it can do that from tally-config?

If not it is something pretty easy to change in the code.

I don't believe you can do that in Tally Config, how would i go about altering the code, a file on the SD card if i view on a windows computer?

Sorry, not done much Pi coding but familiar with actionscript and python so if i can find the file i'm sure i can work it out!

Cheers

It would depend on a job to job basis, for example we frequently have a graphics system we'd like to give an on air Tally which can often be on channel 19 or 20.

i'll have to look back into the protocol to see what I can do,

My 4 atems are at the warehouse atm so it will need to wait for this set of gigs to finish in 2 weeks and I'll get one out to look.

Although this thread is over a year old, I hope, that some are still monitoring.

I think the program would be very cool, if I could get it to work on an Pi 3 B+, but I experience the same problem as other users here did. So my question is, did anybody get it to work on an 3+ and if so, how?

Alternatively, If the packages and an tutorial would be made available, everybody could install it on their devices.

Any help is appreciated.

Hmmmmm, sounds like i need to find some time to work on this again.

I have a Pi3 now, so give me a couple of weeks and I will look.

Starting work, looks like Rasbian Jessi isn't supported on the newer Pi's so I'm trying to upgrade to stretch, wish me luck
